Online pottery course in Belgrade and Novi Sad

Studio Keramike Bardak offers a unique modification of the ceramics course in Serbia - Online course of ceramics. It was created due to a massive number of inquiries from people in the rural parts. Considering there's rarely enough interested people in smaller towns, we designed this concept intending to bring ceramics closer to everyone who wants to get acquainted with this artistic craft. All you need is a computer, or a phone and an internet connection. The concept is simple:

Individual approach

The tutor will work with you in your home through a video call (Skype, Zoom or Viber). Classes can be of practical as well as a theoretical concept, individually adjusted to the needs and possibilities of the participants. We certainly offer different combinations, but we are flexible if the course participant has specific requirements.

Flexible duration and dates of the course

We will always offer you several timeslot alternatives, among which you can choose the one that suits you best. Also, you decide for yourself how many hours you want to attend and how long they will last. We bill you before each session by the hour you agreed on before the class.

Material and equipment

Each student is obliged to provide their tools and materials for work. Our tutors will give you all the guidelines on where and how to buy everything you need to work, depending on what you want to achieve in class.

Professional tutors

Sasa Matić, a potter with numerous years of experience, designed and led all classes. The guest educators are students of the 4th and 5th year of studies at the Faculty of Applied Arts at the Department of Ceramics: Jelena Babić, Milica Miladinović, Una Stojanović.

A potential limitation when it comes to this type of education is reflected in the fact that it is necessary to bake the resulting works yourself. Participants of this type of course in Belgrade and Novi Sad have the possibility of service firing in our studio. If you don't live nearby, the transportation of created items would not be possible. If you do not have a kiln, you need to find a studio in your surroundings that has one. Artists and craftsmen often offer the possibility of service firing of ceramics. There are a large number of such studios and workshops in Serbia, so you will likely find someone who offers service firing. Otherwise, you can focus on practical work, without firing and decorating. Later on, when you get the equipment you can do additional training regarding the firing process. We are certainly here to answer all your questions and concerns, and you can contact us in any of the above ways on our Contact page.
